Graduate Experience

As a fellow of Cornell's Graduate Student School Outreach Program (GRASSHOPR), I had the opportunity to develop and give three lessons on accessibility and accessible technology to a 6th grade class in Homer, NY. The course, titled Accessible Technology: Past, Present, and Future, focused on the development and evolution of accessibility.

I also gave a guest lecture introducing accessibility research in the SoNIC Assistive Robotics workshop at Cornell University in summer 2023.

Undergraduate Experience

Before college, I spent over six years as an inline skating instructor at Skate Journeys Skate School in Bellevue, Washington!

At UW, I was fortunate to TA for UW CSE's Early Fall Start course, which sparked my passion for expanding access to computer science education. One of my favorite memories across my years of being a TA was guest lecturing about visual design and communication to a class of 60 students in Autumn 2021. Outside of the college classroom, in my senior year I had the exciting opportunity to serve as a guest presenter in Code.org's Computer Science A Video Series.
